And then they would certainly have taken you an intimate friend

And then they would certainly have taken you an intimate friend
(واذا لاتخذوك خليلا)

The First Speech

All praise is due to Allah alone. We praise him, resort to him, ask for his forgiveness, turn to him in repentance, and seek refuge in him from the evils of ourselves and our sins. Sure he whom Allah has guided nothing could ever mislead and he whom Allah let astray nothing can rightly guide.
I testify that there is none worth worshipping except Allah alone and that Mohammad is the slave and messenger of Allah. Peace and Grace of Allah be upon him continuously forever.
O slaves of Allah, fear Allah and be dutiful to him righteously.

وَاتَّقُواْ يَوْماً تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى اللّهِۖثُمَّ تُوَفَّى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا كَسَبَتْوَهُمْ لاَ يُظْلَمُونَ (281)
And guard yourselves against the day when you shall be made to return to Allah; then shall every soul be paid in full what it has earned; and they shall not be wronged.
Fear Allah and be dutiful to him.
وَاتَّقُواْ النَّارَ الَّتِي أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِينَ (131)
And fear the Fire which has been prepared for the disbelieves.
وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءَلُونَ بِهِ وَالْأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا
And fear Allah, in Whose name you appeal to one another, and fear him particularly respecting ties of kinship. Verily Allah watches over you.
اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا،(70) يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا(71)
70. O ye who believe ! Fear Allah and say the straightforward word. 71. He will set right you actions for you and forgive you your sins. And whoso obeys Allah and his Messenger shall, surely, attain a supreme triumph.
Then be aware that the best words are the words of Allah in his book (the Qur'an) and the best method of conduct in life is the method of the messenger of Allah -peace and blessings be upon him. Be also aware that the worst things in the religion of Allah is the invented. Every invention in the religion is a heresy and every heresy is a straying from the right path.
O people of monotheism! O brothers in Allah's path! The Holy Qur'an is the cure, the panacea and the right guidance. So whoever seeks guidance from any other source he will be misled by Allah. Whoever seeks cure from any other source, he will be sicken by Allah. And whoever felt satisfied with anything other than it, he will be lost in every valley and rave in every gathering and resembles the cattle. Qur'an is surely the tremendous mercy and the magnificent blessing.
Allah said:
﴿ قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللَّهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهِ فَبِذَلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوا هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ ﴾ [يونس/58]
58) Say "In the bounty of Allah and his Mercy – in that let them rejoice." That's better than (the wealth) they hoard.
So contemplate -O brothers in Allah's bath- these verses as it contained a great deal of guidance, panacea and cure for who attends to it with his heart, seeks guidance from it and feels despair to be guided except by them.
Our Lord -Glorified and Supreme is he- said in one of the biggest and the first outstanding Chapters in the Chapter of Al-Isra' (The Journey by Night):
﴿ وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ وَحَمَلْنَاهُمْ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ وَرَزَقْنَاهُمْ مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقْنَا تَفْضِيلًا ﴾ [الإسراء/70]
70. Indeed, we have honoured the children of Adam, and we carry them by land and sea, and provide them with good things and have exalted them far above many of those whom we have created.
Allah has honoured the children of Adam in their appearances, figures, features, foods and their drinks. However if they disobeyed Allah, he will return them to the lowest parts of disgrace.
﴿ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقْنَا تَفْضِيلًا (70) يَوْمَ نَدْعُو كُلَّ أُنَاسٍ بِإِمَامِهِمْ ﴾
And we have exalted them far above many of those whom WE have created. 71. Call to mind the day when we shall summon every people with their Leader.
In the courtyards on the Day of Reckoning people will be called with their leader, so the Khawarij will be called with their leader and their followed Imams, the Morje'ah will be called with their leaders and followed Imams, also Jahmiah, M'otazilah, hypocrites and every innovation on earth, every religion and every nation will be called with its leader.
Salman and Ali -may Allah be pleased with them- said: "Whoever considered a person to be on the right guidance will be gathered with him on the Day of Resurrection."
The scholars said: "This verse is the honoring of the people of prophetic traditions, monotheists and the pure Sunnis." That's because their leader is Allah's messenger -Peace and blessings of Allah be on him- they do not know any leader except him for themselves to follow so they hold fast to his line of conduct and his traditions so they will be called with his company in the Day of Resurrection.
﴿ يَوْمَ نَدْعُو كُلَّ أُنَاسٍ بِإِمَامِهِمْ ﴾
Call to mind the day when we shall summon every people with their Leader.
So contemplate O slave of Allah! Don't be taken in the various paths lest you may call with them on the Day of Resurrection and gathered with their company.
﴿ فَمَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ فَأُولَئِكَ يَقْرَءُونَ كِتَابَهُمْ وَلَا يُظْلَمُونَ فَتِيلًا (71) وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي هَذِهِ أَعْمَى فَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ أَعْمَى وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا (72)﴾
Then whoso shall be given his Book in his right hand - such will read their book eagerly and they will not be wronged a whit. 72. But whoso is blind in this world shall be blind in the Hereafter, and even more astray from the way.
This verse is a refuting of those who alleged that there is a test in the Hereafter or that the one who died as a polytheist may enter the paradise, however Allah said:
﴿ وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي هَذِهِ أَعْمَى فَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ أَعْمَى وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا (72)﴾
72. But whoso is blind in this world shall be blind in the Hereafter, and even more astray from the way.
So it is inconceivable that a sane adult polytheist who died as so could enter the paradise in the Day of Resurrection whatever his state was as he is a resistant or objector. So comprehend this verse O slaves of Allah:
﴿ وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي هَذِهِ أَعْمَى فَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ أَعْمَى وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا (72)﴾
72. But whoso is blind in this world shall be blind in the Hereafter, and even more astray from the way.
As for the children and the mad polytheists their issue is controversial among the companions because they are not applicable to the description of blind (not seeing Allah's signs and believe in them) because they are not responsible about their acts and the most appropriate is to abstaining in this case. However in this world they have the same rulings as their parents.
﴿ وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي هَذِهِ أَعْمَى فَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ أَعْمَى وَأَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا (72) وَإِنْ كَادُوا لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ ﴾
72. But whoso is blind in this world shall be blind in the Hereafter, and even more astray from the way. 73. And they had well-nigh caused thee severest affliction on account of what WE have revealed to thee
The revelation is heavy. Hard upon the polytheists, hypocrites and heresiarches what you are calling them to, so the devils are pushing them hard in order to deviate the person who follows the revelation and hold it fast. They want to deviate him from his path with any means some of them are with good intentions and the others with bad intentions various tricks. They even tried to deviate Allah's messenger -peace and blessings of Allah be on him- saying: Let's worship your god for a year and you worship our gods in the following year.
﴿ وَدُّوا لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ (9) ﴾ [القلم:9]
9. They wish that thou should compromise (in religion out of courtesy) so that they may also compromise.
Allah said:
﴿ وَإِنْ كَادُوا ﴾
73. And they had well-nigh
They were about to succeed because of the multitude of tricks, planning, insisting and pressings
﴿لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ﴾
caused thee severest affliction
Allah has called it affliction.
﴿ لَيَفْتِنُونَكَ عَنِ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ ﴾
caused thee severest affliction on account of what WE have revealed to thee
to deviate you from what we have revealed to you.
Then Allah said:
﴿ لِتَفْتَرِيَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُ﴾
that thou mightest forge against US something other than that;
If you turned away from the revelation there is no way except fabrications. There is no ideas or opinions save the falsehood fabrication on Allah. Allah does not accept anything from this religion except what came from the revelation path and anything other than revelation is a fabrication on Allah.
﴿لِتَفْتَرِيَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُ ﴾
that thou mightest forge against US something other than that;
To innovate a new method of preaching, price controlling, fighting, knowledge or in religion. To yield or condescend for them. however the messenger -peace and blessings of Allah be on him- had never done any of that.
﴿ لِتَفْتَرِيَ عَلَيْنَا غَيْرَهُ﴾
that thou mightest forge against US something other than that;
Allah said:
﴿ وَإِذًا لَاتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلًا (73)﴾
and they would have certainly taken thee for a special friend.
The word Khalil (intimate friend) indicates the highest degree of love. Even if you did not follow their religion. As they said to him: Worship our gods for a year and we worship your God for a year. So if you are silent on them, content with their religion and did not deny their deeds, they would take you their intimate friend.
﴿ وَإِذًا لَاتَّخَذُوكَ خَلِيلًا (73)﴾
and they would have certainly taken thee for a special friend.
Your praises, glorifications poems would spread through the walls to reach every ear if you fabricate and followed their fabrications.
Allah said:
﴿ وَلَوْلَا أَنْ ثَبَّتْنَاكَ ﴾
74. And if WE had not strengthened thee with the Qur'an.
We are mostly in need of distrusting ourselves and trusting Allah, reckoning on him and submitting ourselves to him. Behold that even the messenger of Allah -peace and blessings of Allah be on him- the one who was supported with Jibrael and the Qur'an and the one who has the most perfect mind, the most honorable soul and the most high determination among humanity needed support from Allah who said:
﴿ وَلَوْلَا أَنْ ثَبَّتْنَاكَ لَقَدْ كِدْتَ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْئًا قَلِيلًا (74)﴾
74. And if WE had not strengthened thee with the Qur'an even then thou wouldst have inclined to them but a little.
Allah does not accept reliance on the wrongdoers even a little. For you is your religion, and for me is my religion. The truth is only manifest by discrimination i.e. to make the truth in one side and the falsehood in the other side. So who will live will live on a clear proof and who perish will perish in a clear proof.
﴿ وَلَوْلَا أَنْ ثَبَّتْنَاكَ ﴾
74. And if WE had not strengthened thee with the Qur'an.
O slaves of Allah! had it not been for Allah's strengthening, supporting and fortifying the hearts, we would all have gone astray and humiliated including Allah's messenger -peace and blessings of Allah be on him-.
﴿ وَلَوْلَا أَنْ ثَبَّتْنَاكَ لَقَدْ كِدْتَ تَرْكَنُ إِلَيْهِمْ شَيْئًا قَلِيلًا (74) إِذًا ﴾
74. And if WE had not strengthened thee with the Qur'an even then thou wouldst have inclined to them but a little. 75. But if, as they imagine, thou hast been one to forge a lie against US.
If you have inclined to them a little.
﴿ لَأَذَقْنَاكَ ضِعْفَ الْحَيَاةِ وَضِعْفَ الْمَمَاتِ" ضاعفنا عليك العذاب" ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ عَلَيْنَا نَصِيرًا (75)وَإِنْ كَادُوا لَيَسْتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ لِيُخْرِجُوكَ مِنْهَا ﴾
Then WE would have made thee taste a heavy punishment in life and a heavy punishment in death, and then thou wouldst not have found for thyself any helper against us. 76. And indeed they are near to scare thee to drive thee away from the land that they might expel thee therefrom
If they found no use of tricks, awakening of desires, cunning and yielding, they resort to the other method by aversion, arousal, repelling, imprisonment and complaining to the rulers and any other methods. If he opposed someone he is fierce. Allah said:
﴿ وَإِذْ يَمْكُرُ بِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيُثْبِتُوكَ أَوْ يَقْتُلُوكَ أَوْ يُخْرِجُوكَ وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ ﴾ [الأنفال/30]
30. And remember when the disbelievers devised plans against thee that they might put thee in confinement or slay thee or expel thee. And they planned and Allah also planned, and Allah is the Best of planners.
If they had expelled him out, Allah would have demolished them all. So when they have participated in expelling the messenger from Maccah, Allah demolished their properties and their leaders after only one year in the battle of Baddr.
﴿وَإِنْ كَادُوا لَيَسْتَفِزُّونَكَ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ لِيُخْرِجُوكَ مِنْهَا وَإِذًا لَا يَلْبَثُونَ خِلَافَكَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا (76) سُنَّةَ مَنْ قَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنَا وَلَا تَجِدُ لِسُنَّتِنَا تَحْوِيلًا﴾ [الإسراء/77]
76. And indeed they are near to scare thee to drive thee away from the land that they might expel thee therefrom, but in that case they themselves would not have stayed after thee save a little. 77. This has been OUR way with OUR Messengers whom WE sent before thee; and thou wilt not find any change in OUR way.
The wisest and the most knowledgeable among people is the most knowledgeable of the divine rules as Allah's rules do not change or deviate, they are constant as the sun which only rises from the east towards the west. However who would comprehend the constant rules and endure them?
﴿ وَلَا تَجِدُ لِسُنَّتِنَا تَحْوِيلًا ﴾
and thou wilt not find any change in OUR way.
The preacher is in need of strengthening his relation with Allah during the night and the day time by worship, voluntarily acts, by surrendering himself to Allah, by strengthening his monotheism and belief in order to be of the means of steading and insight. Allah said:
﴿ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ ﴾
78. Observe Prayer from the declining and paling of the sun till the darkness of the night,
How magnificent and effective is the performing of the prayers on the preachers especially at the times of alienation and afflictions.
﴿ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ ﴾ [البقرة/153]
153. O ye who believe, seek help through perseverance and Prayer; surely, Allah is with those who patiently persevere.
﴿ أَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ إِلَى غَسَقِ اللَّيْلِ وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا (78) وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَةً لَكَ عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا (79)﴾
78. Observe Prayer from the declining and paling of the sun till the darkness of the night, and recite the Qur'an at dawn. Verily, the recitation of the Qur'an at dawn is specially acceptable to ALLAH. 79. And during a part of the night wake up for its recitation - a supererogatory service for thee. It may be that thy Lord will raise thee to an exalted station.
As for the messenger -peace and blessings of Allah be on him- he would have the most exalted, glorious and magnificent position among all creatures. The rank of intersession and that Allah will sit him on the Divine throne as narrated by Mojahid and Ahmad considered it an evidence, and he will have various other dignifying ranks. Also who followed the path of the messenger will have a honoring ranks, who prayed the night prayer, performed the prayers, followed the traditions of the prophet - peace and blessings of Allah be on him- , who taken his as his real example, who do not turn away from his path, do not deviated by afflictions or depend on the polytheists or hypocrites even a little Allah will resurrect him in a honorable rank.
﴿ عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا (79) وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ ﴾
It may be that thy Lord will raise thee to an exalted station.
80. And say, `O my Lord! Let my entry be by the gate of Truth and Honour and likewise my exit by the gate of Truth and Honour.
O slaves of Allah! It is the truth. A drop of is sufficient for a numerous deeds. So if you immigrate say:
﴿ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ ﴾
O my Lord! Let my entry be by the gate of Truth and Honour and likewise my exit by the gate of Truth and Honour.
This is what the messenger -peace and blessings of Allah be on him- said when he immigrated from Maccah towards Madinah he said: O Allah Make my migration from Maccah not for secular gains, not for reputation, fame or anything other than the truth. And make my entrance to Maddinah a truthful entrance. If you want to fight, ask for knowledge, performed worships, go there or come say O my Lord make my entry a truthful good entry because Allah loves the truthful people and rewards them the greatest reward. The truthfulness is the secret between the slave and his Lord which no one knows about however Allah raises the believer with it highly.
﴿ وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَصِيرًا (80)﴾
O my Lord! Let my entry be by the gate of Truth and Honour and likewise my exit by the gate of Truth and Honour. And grant me from you an authority to help me.'
Allah is supporting his righteous slaves and sent down proofs and the authority that devastates the falsehood and its people. Allah also provides them with authority and weapons that defend the revelation they had, that's why Allah's prophet supplicated to be provided with the supporting authority in order that he could spread the religion.
﴿ وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا (81)﴾
81. And proclaim: `Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Verily, falsehood is bound to vanish.
This is the saying of the All-Knower. The one who created the truth and really knows its features.
﴿ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا ﴾
Verily, falsehood is bound to vanish.
O slaves of Allah! the falsehood is resembling the huge spreading cedar tree however its roots are near and weak so if it is stricken with wind, its collapse is sudden. This is the resemblance of the falsehood whatever it appears as deep rooted and people were deceived of its enormousness and thought it is deep-rooted, it is bound to vanish as our Lord stated. However where is the supporters of the truth who declare it as Allah wills not according to people's desires and preserve doing that? Even if he were alone he will devastate a huge quantity of falsehood, kill a great deal of falsehood. How much falsehood would be evaporated?
﴿ وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ ﴾
And proclaim: `Truth has come.
Where is the truth that brings its people to preserve it, do not deviate away from it, do not flatter, do not yield or trust the innovators, wrongdoer or hypocrites?
﴿ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا ﴾
Verily, falsehood is bound to vanish.
Then Allah said:
﴿ وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ ﴾
82. And WE gradually reveal of the Qur'an that which is healing.
By the Lord of Al-Ka'bah it is a real cure.
﴿ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا (82)﴾
And a mercy to believers; but it only adds to the loss of the wrongdoers.
O slaves of Allah! I swear by Allah that no one have ever recited the Qur'an except whether he increased or decreased. He will never leave in the same state he enters recitation. So if he was a sincere believer seeking the guidance in the Qur'an despairing of being guided elsewhere except what explained it as the traditions and the companions sayings and he is distrusting the people's ideas, opinions and writings so he is seeking guidance from the Qur'an and he is satisfied with it without any other thing, so by Allah, by Allah, by Allah I swear that he will find a cure for every question and for every illness and it is a mercy for the believers. However the one who opened the Qur'an seeking to follow the verses which is not entirely clear and searching for something that justifies his opinion, so he is searching for what misleading himself and the people with I swear by Allah that the Qur'an is misguiding such a person not rightly guiding him. Allah said:
﴿ يُضِلُّ بِهِ كَثِيرًا وَيَهْدِي بِهِ كَثِيرًا وَمَا يُضِلُّ بِهِ إِلَّا الْفَاسِقِينَ ﴾ [البقرة/26]
By it he cause many to stray, and many he leads into the right path. But he does not cause to astray except those who are the disobedient.
He is a rebellious who deviated away from the path so that the Qur'an is a misleading for him. So he brings the evidence to justify his opinion however it is a proof against him as the messenger -peace and blessings of Allah be on him- said about the sect called Khawarij. Allah said;
﴿وَإِذَا مَا أُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةٌ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَقُولُ أَيُّكُمْ زَادَتْهُ هَذِهِ إِيمَانًا فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا فَزَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَهُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ (124) وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ﴾
124. And whenever a Surah is sent down, there are some of them who say; `Which of you has this Surah increased in faith ?' But as to those who believe, it increases their faith and they rejoice. 125. But as for those in whose hearts is a disease,
Did the Qur'an left them on their first condition? No, by Allah it didn't.
﴿ فَزَادَتْهُمْ رِجْسًا إِلَى رِجْسِهِمْ ﴾
it adds further suspicion and doubt to their suspicion, disbelief and doubt.
It increased them in hypocrisy which is only one chapter of the Qur'an and yet it increased them in doubts, suspicions and clinging to the falsehood that they claimed to be the truth.
﴿ وَمَاتُوا وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ ﴾ [التوبة/125]
and they die while they are disbelievers.
﴿ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا (82) وَإِذَا أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَأَى بِجَانِبِهِ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ كَانَ يَئُوسًا (83)﴾
But it only adds to the loss of the wrongdoers. 83. And when we bestow favour on man, he turns away and goes aside in arrogance; and when evil touches him, he gives himself up to despair.
This is the nature of the human. Behold when he was afflicted with a dangerous disease, poverty, debt, or distress how he looks despair with a prolonged supplications. However when this affliction is removed from him, how he renounce Allah except few people who remembers Allah and be grateful to him. As Allah said: "A few number of my slaves are the grateful ones."
﴿ وَإِذَا أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَأَى بِجَانِبِهِ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ كَانَ يَئُوسًا (83) قُلْ كُلٌّ يَعْمَلُ عَلَى شَاكِلَتِهِ فَرَبُّكُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ هُوَ أَهْدَى سَبِيلًا (84) وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الرُّوحِ قُلِ الرُّوحُ مِنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّي وَمَا أُوتِيتُمْ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا (85)﴾
83. And when WE bestow favour on man, he turns away and goes aside; and when evil touches him, he gives himself up to despair. 84. Say, `Everyone acts according to his own way, and your Lord knows well who is best guided on the right path.' 85. And they ask thee concerning the soul. Say, `The soul is one of the things, the knowledge of which is only with my Lord; and of knowledge you (mankind) have been given only a little.
Unawareness of a lot of the nowadays knowledge is the real knowledge. Being unaware of it is the real knowledge as it is unnecessary useless affectation because the real religious knowledge is what came from Allah and his messenger concerning the religious issues.
Then Allah the Almighty said:
﴿ وَلَئِنْ شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنَّ بِالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا وَكِيلًا ﴾
86. And if we pleased, we could certainly take away that which we have revealed to thee (i.e. this Qur'an) and then thou wouldst find no guardian for thyself against us in the matter .
There will come the day when this Qur'an taken away from the hearts and the books, then people will be searching for only one verse of it however they will never find any. They neither memorize it nor find it in the copies of the Holy Qur'an. We seek refuge in Allah from encountering these days. This will take place when the matters of this world become unbalanced, that is because this Qur'an is the balance of the world. So if it was ignored it would be taken back to the place where it first came from.
Ibn Mas'aowd said: "People indulged in the tales of the pre-Islamic period, its poetry and other staff of that period until they became like the cattle."
Allah the almighty then said:
﴿ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِنْ رَبِّكَ إِنَّ فَضْلَهُ كَانَ عَلَيْكَ كَبِيرًا (87) قُلْ لَئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الْإِنْسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى أَنْ يَأْتُوا بِمِثْلِ هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ لَا يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا (88) وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَذَا الْقُرْآنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مَثَلٍ فَأَبَى أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا﴾ [الإسراء/89]
87. Except through the special mercy of thy Lord. Surely, great is HIS grace on thee. 88. Say, `If men and jinn should gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they helped one another.'89. And surely We have set forth for mankind in various ways all kinds of similitudes in this Qur'an, but most of mankind refuse (the truth and accept nothing) but disbelief.
They are either negligent or resistant of it.
O Allah we ask you to benefit us and dignify us with the Holy Qur'an. O Allah benefit us and raise us with the Holy Qur'an. O Allah we ask you to make it our cure, mercy and right guidance. O Lord of all worlds. O Allah we ask you to be among those who are going to be called with their leader Mohammad -peace and blessings of Allah be on him- on the Day of Resurrection. O Allah steady us to his line of conduct and his traditions. O Allah we seek refuge in you from being joined with a leader other than him. O Lord of all worlds. O Allah guard us against being afflicted by fabricating anything to you. O Allah we seek refuge in you from trusting them by any rate. O Allah strengthen and insight us. O Allah! Don't entrust us to ourselves to manage our matters even for the term of the blink of an eye. O Allah had it not been for your strengthening us, we would have gone astray, humiliated, and fabricated on you. O Allah steady us and strengthen our hearts. O Allah! Don't entrust us to ourselves or to anyone of your creatures to manage our matters even for the term of the blink of an eye. O Allah bless us with living as monotheists and followers of the prophetic example in the traditions and make us die on this. O Allah Lord of all worlds we are your slaves children of your slave and maid slave, our forelocks are in your hand, your command over us is executed and your decree over us is perfectly just. We ask you by every attribute belonging to you by which you have named yourself, or have revealed in your book, or have taught to any of your creations, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen that is exclusively with you, to make the Holy Qur'an the reviving refreshment of our hearts and the light of our breasts, the departure for our sorrow and a release from our anxieties and our grief. Make it our leader and guide to you and to your paradises the Paradises of the utmost Blessings. O Allah benefit and raise us with the Holy Qur'an. We seek refuge in you from being satisfied with anything other than the Qur'an and abandon it. And we ask you to make us of those who are satisfied with it without needing anything other than it. O you are the Ever-Living the Self Subsisting the All-sustainer. What I have said you have just heard and I ask Allah for his forgiveness for you and me so ask for his forgiveness
