Proving that the recent Murjiah sect's doctrine is the extremist doctrine.

In the name of Allah we begin.
All praise is due to Allah and peace and blessings of Allah on the messenger of Allah.
Nowadays the very extremist ideology of the Murjiah spread. The leaders of this doctrine are people who allege that they are Salafies who are following the salaf scholars. This doctrine that they strive to spread is built on three pillars: the first pillar dictates that the person who do not embraced monotheism who regularly performs polytheism if he do not know that Allah is the one who is worthy of being worshipped alone, if he was imitating his sheikhs or if he has a wrong explanation, this person is not only excused for being ignorant, but he is also considered one of the Muslims, it is lawful to pray after him, marry the believer women and his slain is lawful to be eaten and other laws of Muslims. They even allege that it is enough to utter the testimony without knowing its meaning or fulfilling its conditions and requirements. So whoever uttered it with his tongue is surely embraced Islam. Some of them who lived in Riyadh even said in the presence of a group of the religious knowledge learners: (Whoever said: the dog and the pig is only our deity, And Allah is only a monk in his hermitage.) The doctrine of Itihadiahyet he is a Muslim who deserves all rights of the Muslims as long as he has uttered the testimony of Islam with his tongue. This is the extreme excessiveness and I have not known that anyone along the history had reached that degree of excessiveness without being a foe of the creed of monotheism and Islam. At the time of sheikh Mohammad IbnAbdAl-Wahhabthey claimed that whoever said the testimony is a Muslim whose blood and money is forbidden even if he committed thousands of the violations of the testimony. They slander the Sheikh and they accused him of Takfeer the Muslims, fighting them and that he is one of Al-Khawarij. And we refuted these allegations in former essays.
The second pillar: Who refrained from performing the prayers who regularly refrained from performing them all his life without performing one unit of prayers for Allah is a Muslim and monotheist who is to be treated as a Muslim as long as he did not deny it in his heart. This doctrine is contradicts with the consensus of the first righteous favorable generations and the evident clear cut texts. And the discussion of excessiveness has another essay.
The third pillar: When they omitted the prayers which is the Pillar of the religion they stumbled in a greater mistake that they thought that the best outlet from this dilemma is to omit the entire activities of the limbs and allege that they are only an integrity provision that do not affect the belief if it was left. They declared that who has the ability to do good yet he has never done any good deed, is a believer and one of the Paradise dwellers. They kept repeatedly stated that belief is the believing as true and the atheism is only the denial and refutation, but the prostration to the idol, disdaining the copy of the Holy Qur'an and other disbelieving acts is the signs of disbelief not the essence of the disbelief. They at the time of confession they say: "Belief is utterance and action that increases and decreases."And at the time of verification they say: "The action is out of the luxuries which do not decrease the belief, if it is absolutely left."Here are –dear brother- some of the sayings of the Salaf-may Allah show them mercy- in proofing that the doctrine of the Murjiah regarding the third article of their doctrine is the extremist doctrine.
1- Imam Al-Homaidy died 162Hj –may Allah show him mercy- said: I have been told that some people said: whoever admitted the Prayers, Zakat (Alms giving), Fasting and pilgrimage without performing any of these obligations until he died is a believer unless he was a denier. I said that this saying is the absolute disbelief as it contradicts the Book of Allah (The Holy Qur'an), his Messengers line of conduct and the act of the Muslims. (It was issued by Al-Khallal in his book Al-Sunnah 3/586 number 1027)
2- Hanbal said Abo Abd Allah Ahmad IbnHanbal said: "Whoever said such saying is a disbeliever of Allah, he rejected Allah's obligation and denied what the messenger was sent with. "It was issued by Al-lalkaey 5/887 number 1094).
3- Imam IshaqibnRahoyah said: " The Murjiahhas been excessive to the extent that some among them said: Whoever abandoned performing the prescribed prayers, refrained from fasting the Month of Ramadan, paying obligatory Alms and performing pilgrimage and all of the obligations without denying them, we do not call him a disbeliever, however we render his status to Allah as he admitted." Those who adopted such a doctrine, there is no doubt in them (Fath Al-Bary of Ibn Rajab Al-Hanbaly 1.21)
His saying: "that there is no doubt in them." He meant either "There is no doubt in their disbelief." As it was stated in other religious texts, or that there is no doubt of their Irjaa.
4- The Great leader of Imams SofyanIbnOyaynah -may Allah show him mercy- said: "Morjeah has obligated the Paradise to whoever testified that there is none worth worshipping except Allah alone while he was insisting with his heart to leave the obligations. They called the leaving of the obligations mere offence as doing the prohibitions, yet they are not the same. Because committing the prohibitions without considering them lawful is only a disobedient. However leaving the obligations deliberately without being ignorant or any other excuse is a disbelief. It is evident in the story of Adam and the Satan and the scholars of the Jews. …. So committing the prohibited acts is like the offence of Adam and other prophets, however leaving the obligations as an act of denial is a disbelief like the disbelief of the Satanand leaving the obligations deliberately without denying them is a disbelief like the disbelief of the scholars of the Jews. "It was narrated by Abd Allah Ibn Ahmad IbnHanbal in Al-Sunnah 1/347 number (745.)
5- In a fluent saying of Imam Ahmad when Hamdan Al-Warraq asked him about the Morjiah. He said: "They said if he uttered the testimony by his tongue even if he did not confirmed this with his limbs. He asked the Imam: Why then did they endeavor (in doing good deeds) while they say like that? He said: the affliction. We ask Allah to save us from what they have been afflicted with".
It was issued by Al-Khallal in Al-Sunnah 3/570 number (980).
6- When ShababahIbnSiwar said: "If someone uttered the testimony, then he already worked with his limb –meant his tongue- he wanted to say that his utterance is spared him the limbs actions." Imam Ahmad said: "It was narrated from Shababah a saying which is filthier that all these sayings which I have never heard anyone before him said that." It was issued by Al-Khallal in Al-Sunnah 3/570 number (982).
7- There is a long useful narration of a saying about Irjaa explained that its basis is belittling the deeds. It was narrated by Imam Ahmad from AlfodhailIbnEiadh in the end of it Al-Fodhail said: " I have explained the issue to you, unless you are a blind hearted." (It was issued by Al-Khallal in Al-Sunnah 1/376 number 374.)
8- There is also a very useful story to the real Sunnies that when Salim Al-Aftas declared the creed of Irjaa before Allah send to him who slaughtered him as the sheep in 231Hj, the young Salafies went to the scholars all over the countries asking them about that issue which contains treasures of benefits.) the first of the story said: MaquilIbnObaid Allah Al-Jazary said: "When Salim Al-Aftascame to us in the peninsula and he declared the doctrine of Irjaa and announced it so our fellows – i.e. the Salafies- detested him very much and those who abhorred him most were MaimounIbnMahran and AbdAl-Kareem Al-Jazary. As for Abd Al-Kareem, he vowed to Allah that he will never gather with him under one ceiling except the mosque. Ma'quil said I then performed pilgrimage so I went to AttaaIbnAbyRabah" (The whole story is narrated in the book of Al-Sunnah to Abd Allah Ibn Ahmad volume 1 page 381/382. And narrated by Al-Khallal and IbnBattah in their books)
9- ForatIbnSolaiman said: "We were walking with MaimounIbnMahran until we reached the monastery of the Stander Al-Qaem then he looke at the Monk and said: could anyone of you exert in worship as this monk did? They said no, we can't. So he said: So what would this worship benefit him if he did not belief in Mohammad –peace and blessings of Allah be on him? They said: it will avail him nothing. He then said: This is the same as the utterance it avail nothing without the doing."This denotes that the scholars were very keen to ammunate the young generations when the afflictions spread in their areas as the example of this monk will never be erased from their minds and they will remember him each time they heard of the cursed Morjiahs sect.
10- the Great Imam Ata'aIbnRabah who was the Mofti of the sacred Mosque who died in 411 Hj -may Allah show him mercy- Allah the Almighty said:
﴿وَمَنْ أَرَادَ الآخِرَةَ وَسَعَى لَهَا سَعْيَهَا وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَأُولَئِكَكَانَ سَعْيُهُم مَّشْكُوراً (19) ﴾
{19. And whoso desires the Hereafter and strives for it as it should be striven for and is a believer - these are the ones whose striving shall be duly appreciated.}
"So stick the name to the action and the action to the name" (refer to Al-Ibanah to IbnBattah 2/894 number 1257)
11- The great Imam of Al-Sham Al-Awza'ey may Allah show him mercy- said: “The former generations that came before us did not differentiate between belief and the deeds, belief is out of the deeds and deeds are from the belief. The belief is only a comprehensive title as these religions are gathered under their name, and the deeds certify the belief. …. Yet they say: (means the Morjiaahs) belief could be found without deeds."
12- IbnKhozaimah - may Allah show him mercy-died 113 Hj. Said explaining the meaning of the tradition that the pioneer as well as the recent Morjiaahs used to happily argue with thinking that it could help them in proving that the good deeds are only a supplementary provision: This expression "They have not done any good deed." Is like the utterance of the Arabs who used to negate the deed from the name because it is incomplete and unfinished not the external meaning. (I have explained this meaning in some places in my books." (Al-Tawheed to IbnKhozaimah 2/732.) The example of this is when the messenger said: “Go back and pray as you have not prayed." And the tradition that tells the story of the person who has killed one hundred person, when the Punishment Angels said: He have not made any good deed. Also like the Arabs saying about the lewd: “There is no good of him”And other examples.
13- Al-Malty Al-shafiey died in 377Hj -may Allah show him mercy- said in his book titled Al-Tanbeehwalradalaahl Al-AhwaaWal-bedaa (Warning and the refuting the fancy people and innovators.) which is a valuable book. He said: Chapter Mentioning the Morjiaah sect- I have mentioned the sect of Morjiaah in my book at the beginning and the end of it as they said a saying that contradicts with the reason and the known traditions!! Haven't you heard them saying that anyone who testified that there is none worth worshipping except Allah alone without partners and that Mohammad is Allah's messenger, and he prohibited what Allah has prohibited and deem lawful what Allah prescribed as lawful, is a dweller in the Paradise when he die even if he committed adultery and theft and also if he abandoned the prayers, the obligatory Alms and Fasting provided that he is admitting them but he is postponing the repentance. So he considered their doctrine a contradiction to the custom of the scholars and the reasoning of the reasonable people then he refuted them with rational evidences which are the same saying that spread and prevailed nowadays.
14- The scholars who searched in the Sects matters mentioned that the eleventh sect of Morjiaah the followers of Bishr Al-Mareesy and Ibn Al-Rawindy said: The belief is the admitting in the heart and the tongue without deeds. And the disbelief is the denial and refusal of the heart and whoever prostrated him-self to the idols or blasphemed Allah are only a reference to disbelief not actually a disbelief.
This is the extreme deviation and excessiveness. This is the creed of the recent Morjiaah sect refer to Al-FarqBayna Al-Firaq (the difference among the Religious sects) to Abd Al-Qaher and The Islamists Essays. 1/222.
15- The reformer Imam Mohammad IbnAbd Al-Wahhab -may Allah show him mercy- said: "There is no disagreement that the creed of monotheism is to be with the heart, the tongue and the action so if there is something went wrong out of these pillars the person would not be a Muslim."
16- The scholars of our time have followed the same path of the earlier generations (Salaf) in dealing with that issue. Imam Abd Al-Aziz IbnBaz -may Allah show him mercy- said: The action is not a supplementary provision it is an original part of the belief. That is the creed of the Morjiaah. (in a meeting with Mishkah magazine in 1417Hj.)
17- Sheikh Salih Al-Fawzan said about the sayings of recentMorjiaah:"These sayings of them are the sayings of the extremist Jahmiah." Refer to paragraph that was published in this site.
We ask Allah to rightly guide the astray members among Muslims and disgrace their enemy and those who are seeking to spoil their creed. And with the help of Allah is the success and from him comes the real support.
